What Your Neighbors Are Saying About Us

I recently had an issue with my HVAC blower motor not turning on. After testing it some more on my end, I realized that I was not going to get it started and needed to get it serviced by a professional. I easily made an appointment and was able to get service for the same day. The technician (Tyler) showed up when they said he would. He was very helpful, informative, and professional. Somehow, he was able to get the system running again. He advised me as to the probable reason that the system had stopped working and informed me of some corrective actions so as to avoid the same issue in the future. I found him to be very courteous. When it came time to pay, I found the bill to be very reasonable for the service. I am very grateful that I called Arctic Air and will be using them again when I have any issues.

My initial phone call for repair was followed up immediately with a phone call to set up an appointment for the afternoon of the same day since repairmen were already working in the area. Daniel and Tyler arrived on time, and were very polite and helpful. I thought the cost was a very good price for the quality of service. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

Tyler at Artic Air inspected the HVAC systems at a home we are purchasing. He was thorough and took the time meticulously go through each system. He took the time to explain everything he found and even emailed me a detailed report with pictures. I can’t say enough good things about Artic Air. We have definitely found our new HVAC people.

Worth Knowing

Why Fall Tune-Ups Pay Off

  1. Heat strips that half-work drive power bills through the roof without obvious symptoms.
  2. Defrost problems only show up in cold weather — testing first beats discovering later.
  3. Dust burning off neglected furnaces is the classic “first cold day” smell — and sometimes worse.
  4. A documented service history helps at warranty time and at resale.

Is It Worth the Investment?

One tune-up costs less than a single emergency visit — and unlike the emergency, you pick the day. Bundle it into a maintenance plan and the per-visit price drops further while your repair discount kicks in.

The full 21-point inspection: electrical components, refrigerant (for heat pumps), temperature rise, heat strips or burners, and overall condition.

Same thoroughness, different season and different failure points — heating checks focus on strips, defrost, igniters, and venting.

A brief dusty smell on first use is common. If it persists, smells electrical, or trips a detector, shut it down and call us.
